WELCOME TO TEXTILES
Sawtooth’s textile studios evoke the building’s origins as a textile factory. Classes focus on the age-old processes of dyeing, spinning, weaving, and felting. Classes, workshops, open studio and private instruction available. For more information about Sawtooth Textiles programs, including open studio and private instruction, please contact department director Leslie Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 336.723.7395 x1214. You can also sign up for our textiles email list to stay in touch with us.
The dye studio is a fully equipped kitchen for preparing dyes and working with fibers. The weaving studio has seven floor looms, including five Leclerc looms with six treadles and four harnesses.
