WELCOME TO PRINTMAKING

Printmaking offers unique possibilities as an art form. The printmaking studio offers classes in monoprint, drypoint, linoleum block printing, woodcuts, screenprinting, gelatin prints and more. The studio is the home of a vibrant printmaking community. Our print group meets monthly, and visiting artists share their techniques and insights on a regular basis. Students can take advantage of Open Studio rental pending completion of Introduction to Printmaking or certification by the studio coordinator.

For more information about the Sawtooth printmaking program, including open studio and private instruction, please contact department director Sauda Mitchell at graphics@sawtooth.org or 336.723.7395 x1214. You can also sign up for our printmaking email list to stay in touch with us.

Each session the Printmaking Studio hosts the free event Good Impression: Readings from the Pressbed.
