Lauren Davis
Lauren Davis comes to Sawtooth with over ten years of experience working for various community organizations in the Piedmont Triad, including Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Enrichment Center, and the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina. In her previous role as Habitat’s Chief Advancement Officer, Davis managed the Philanthropy, Volunteer, and Communications divisions while advancing the organization’s mission to provide communities with safe and affordable housing solutions.
Davis took her first class at Sawtooth soon after moving to Winston-Salem. Looking to make new friends in an unfamiliar city and tap into her creative side, Davis witnessed firsthand the power of Sawtooth’s classes to inspire joy and self-discovery while building connections within the community. In years since, she’s tried her hand at ceramics, darkroom photography, screenprinting, and more, encouraged by Sawtooth’s supportive and enriching education model.
Davis holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from North Carolina State University, focused on Nonprofit Management.
