Metal Clay Artists Symposium (MCAS)
Registration is now OPEN for the third Metal Clay Artists Symposium (MCAS) at Sawtooth School for Visual Art. This international gathering of all things metal clay will be held August 27-30, 2020. MCAS features 13 nationally-known artists presenting more than 20 workshops, a panel discussion and breakout sessions, a month-long metal clay exhibit, and more. The 2018 MCAS drew more than 130 attendees and we expect this year’s symposium to be even more popular. General registration is just $55; optional hands-on workshops are extra. All the details are available at www.MCAS2020.com.

Camp PMC
Sawtooth has also become the home base for the newly launched Camp PMC Certification Program. This North American program, produced in partnership with Mitsubishi Materials Trading Corporation, Rio Grande Jewelry Supply and Sawtooth School trains artisans and instructors in the use of PMC brand silver clays. Held at various venues throughout the USA, courses are taught by artists who’ve become certified through Camp PMC. Since its introduction in July, Camp PMC courses have certified more than 25 instructors across the US. Details about Camp PMC are here: www.camppmc.com.
