Auction & Celebration of JoAnne Vernon

Join Sawtooth School of Visual Art & Piedmont Craftsmen on May 18th for a celebration & auction of selected works from the art collection of JoAnne Vernon. JoAnne was Piedmont Craftsmen’s Gallery Director in the 1980s, served as their Board Chair (2010-11), and was the late Executive Director of Sawtooth from 2012-2016.

The celebration & auction will be held at Sawtooth School in the Davis Gallery on Saturday, May 18th from 5:00 till 8:00 pm. The evening will include a cocktail buffet by Diamondback Grill, wine & beer, live & silent auctions, and live music.

The sale of the artwork, which was donated by JoAnne’s husband Ken Otterbourg, will benefit both Piedmont Craftsmen & Sawtooth School for Visual Art. Her collection represents a wide selection of ceramics and 2-D works. The auction will include work by: Jane Goslin Peiser, Mark Ferri, Debra Fritts, Donna Polseno, Beth Tarkington, Michael Sherrill, Billy McClain, Robbie Tillotson, Edward S. Eberle, Nancy Kubale & more.

The auction serves as the opening celebration of an exhibition featuring JoAnne Vernon and Ken Otterbourg’s personal work. The exhibition will run from May 18th through June 28th in the Davis Gallery.
