Sam Metzler
Sam joined Quality Oil Company and sister company, Reliable Tank Line, in 2014. Prior to this, Sam served in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. While there, he was deployed as Operational Law Attorney and later practiced as a Trial Counsel (prosecutor) for 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. Sam’s final assignment before returning to North Carolina was as an attorney in the Army’s newly developed Special Victims’ Counsel Program, representing victims of sexual assault in court-martial proceedings. Sam currently serves on the boards of Forsyth Count Veterans Treatment Court, Inc., Leadership Winston-Salem, Dress for Success Winston-Salem and Sawtooth School for Visual Art. Sam received his BA from UNC Chapel Hill and his JD from Wake Forest University. Sam and wife Martha are the parents of three boys, Bud, Bennett, and Finn.
