DOROTHY HURT
Dorothy joined the SSVA Board in 2016 and currently serves as a Past President. She is the Regional Quality Compliance Director for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and holds a B.S. in Human Services from Virginia Tech.
Dorothy and her family discovered Sawtooth shortly after moving to Winston-Salem and frequently take advantage of the variety of workshops, gallery events, and summer camps. She loves the opportunity to explore her creative side and engage with others who share her passion for art.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her energetic twelve-year-old daughter, their three adopted kitties, and their rescue greyhound. Her other hobbies include yoga, running, traveling, reading, beading, and baking.
