What Wood You Do? Intro to Woodworking | Ages 12-16 | Week 5 PM

In this class, we will be going over a basic introduction to woodworking. We will cover tool and shop safety, the basics of wood as a material, hand tools, power tools, and more! Be prepared to make sawdust your favorite accessory and walk away from the class with a couple of small projects of your own and ideas for more!

There are strict rules students must follow for the wood shop:


  • Safety glasses are provided, or you may bring your own.
  • Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes
  • Avoid loose-fitting clothing and accessories
  • Tie back long hair
  • Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • No bracelets, necklaces, or rings.
