Prior to the event, artist Ella Coyne will be hosting a sketching session in the gallery -- Take a Seat, Draw a Chair. Inspired by Salem College students, and their illustrations of chairs from the SIDE Chair Library, we hope this informal event will encourage deep looking and playful illustrations. Bring your own pencils and sketchbooks. Drawing benches and boards will be provided.
