Step into the magic of traditional photography with this private, hands-on Intro to Darkroom workshop. This private instruction class is great for students who want an immersive experience and/or have irregular hours that don't align with our standard weeknight darkroom class schedule. Designed for beginners and photo enthusiasts alike, this 2-Week (4-hour one-on-one total) will guide you through the fundamental processes of black-and-white film development and printing in a traditional darkroom setting.

You'll learn how to load and develop film, make contact sheets, and create your first silver gelatin prints using an enlarger. Along the way, you'll gain an understanding of darkroom tools, chemistry, safety, and basic printing techniques—leaving with a new appreciation for the analog craft and prints of your own creation.

Workshop Details:

Duration: 4 hours (private session spread over the course of two weeks)

Skill Level: Beginner – no prior experience required
