NEW! 607.B Intro to Landscape Photography
Landscape photography can include just about any outdoor environment, from city to wilderness. In this 4 week class we will focus mainly on natural and rural landscapes, with special emphasis on long exposure techniques (for moving water, clouds, etc.) and basic panoramic shooting. We’ll cover composition, camera settings and handling, special equipment and its use, and weather considerations. One class will be held “in the field”. Students should have a good understanding of their camera’s operation and the basics of exposure, but don’t need any prior experience with landscape shooting. Graduates of Digital Photo 1 should know all they need to get started.
