NEW 5107. Camp PMC Course 107 Incorporating Glass w/PMC

This Camp PMC Artisan Course is available exclusively to graduates of the Camp PMC Foundations Course 101. If you did not take Course 101 at Sawtooth, please provide a copy of the Camp PMC Course 101 certificate to metals@sawtooth.org when you register for this class.

In Combining Glass and PMC Course 107, learn everything you need to know about using different types of glasses in combination with PMC silver clays. First learn to fuse their cabochons of glass by cutting, stacking and firing fusible glasses. After creating the cabochons, work with fine silver metal clays to create high fire and low fire projects including two pendants and a pair of earrings. The instructor will discuss different types of glasses, different designs requiring different types of firing and detailed kiln schedules for the best firing results.

Students will make 8 glass cabochons, one simple pendant, one complex pendant and a pair of earrings using PMC3 and fusible glass.

A kit fee of $150 will be payable to the instructor at the class and includes: 30g PMC, silver wire and glass.
