Mindfulness and Photography Level 2
“Technique is important only insofar as you must master it in order to communicate what you see…In any case, people think far too much about techniques and not enough about seeing.” - Henri Cartier-Bresson
In contemplative photography, we are learning the ancient art of slowing down. We are taking the time necessary to actually see, to become conscious of and present with what is actually happening right in front of us, and then we try to accurately form the equivalent with our cameras. The Level Two class will provide you with additional support in your practice of contemplative photography. All cameras are welcome from mobile phones, point-and-shoot (compact) cameras, mirrorless or DSLM (Digital Single Lens Mirrorless) cameras, DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras. This class includes weekly assignments, a photo walk, and is great for beginners and professionals alike. Mindfulness and Photography Level One is not required but highly recommended.
