Ceramics- Clay Creations Level 1 (ages 6-8)
Explore ceramics and learn the basics of hand building while having fun in this 4-week afterschool class! Each session brings new projects, concepts, and an opportunity to build on skill already learned. Students will practice pinch, slab and coil techniques to create various projects in clay. After manipulating the material with your hands and leaving the clay out to dry slowly, you will apply color to your ceramic pieces, like painting, with a special glaze.
