Metal: Wire Sculpture- Bending, Flaring, and Tapering-
This one-week class is an introduction to metal, specifically focusing on manipulating wire by using forging and bending techniques. Learn about tools in the small metals studio and basic techniques for forging and bending wire. Study the sculptures and jewelry of Alexander Calder and produce experiments and finished work by the end of the week.
