Art History Flavor: Huichol Painting with Yarn
In this workshop we will learn about the origins of the ancient art form created by the Huichol, an indigenous people of Mexico. We will then create some of our own huichol yarn paintings!
Please bring some photos for inspiration - no prior experience needed. Supplies provided. Ages 14 and up. The class will break for lunch. You may wish to bring a bag lunch or visit one of the local restaurants close by.
