Barn Quilts
Make a barn quilt in the wood studio. Barn quilts are beautiful geometric quilt paterns painted on wood that decorate rural landscapes across the U.S. Often mounted on the exterior walls of barns, garages or potting sheds, they are a long-standing folk-art tradition of the American countryside. Learn the basics of the design and layout of this beautiful 12-pointed star, or design a quilt pattern of your own with a digital design demo and simple measuring tools. Class will include discussions of suitable materials and paints for a work of art that lives outdoors. The quilt you make in class will be 2’ by 2’ and use paint colors provided by the instructor. No prior experience is necessary.

- A $25 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class
- Enrollment is open to students ages 18 and up
