Beginner Greenwood Bowl Turning
Start your exploration of green woodturning where you work with fresh cut "green" timber in this hands-on workshop. You'll learn to turn, finish, and take home a wooden bowl in a day. This fun and fast paced workshop will get you familiar with the tools and techniques of bowl turning with an emphasis on safety and with the goal in sight of a unique handmade bowl of your own! Because you will be turning green wood to a finished product in one day, expect that your bowl will warp out of round as it dries. No woodworking or turning experience is necessary.
Additional Information:
- A $15 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout.
- Enrollment is open to students ages 18 and up.
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
- This class will have a half hour break for lunch around midday.
