Moravian Star
The Moravian star is a Winston-Salem icon. This class starts with the star’s unique geometry and teaches the construction of its complex form. The project makes use of a number of woodworking tools including the jointer, compound miter saw, and band saw. Learn to deal with angled cuts using machine adjustments and jigs, sand pieces to final dimensions, and finishing. Class size limited to four students – truly a “celestial” wood experience!
Materials: A $25 materials fee is due to instructor on first day of class.
