Butcher Block
Learn to use the major machines of the wood shop to safely and efficiently produce a beautiful multi-wood butcher block from the scraps around the shop. Starting with the milling process, you will joint and plane your material into square, straight strips. You'll learn to rip them down to size at the table saw, and then laminate them together to create your board. Along the way, you will learn proficiency at all the tools mentioned, plus how to finish your laminated board so that it is food-safe and ready to put to work in your kitchen.
