Traditional Japanese Toolbox
Build a traditionally styled Japanese toolbox, a great project that will have you developing your skills in measuring, marking and working with both machine and hand tools. Students will learn to cut mortise and tenon joinery by hand and will also gain experience using the table saw and other major machines of the wood studio. You'll have the opportunity to customize the dimensions of your box to suit your needs, whether you plan to tote your tools from place to place, or store treasured heirlooms. Previous woodworking experience will be necessary.

- A $55 material fee will be included in the total fee at check out
- This class has a scheduled skip day on 7/31
- Registration will close one week early to allow adequate time for material sourcing
- This class is open to students ages 18 and up.
