Independent Turning Studio

Independent Turning Studio at Sawtooth is a chance for turners to graduate from our classes and workshops to working independently on their own projects. To be eligible for Independent studio, participants must have a minimum of 25 hours of training in turning within the past few years. Training in Sawtooth's classes and workshops is strongly preferred, but training from other institutions will also be considered. To meet this 25 hour requirement, students can take Sawtooth's Intro and intermediate Woodturning classes, or 5 of Sawtooth's Saturday Turning Workshops.

How do I sign up? Email Josie Vogel (wood@sawtooth.org) to apply for independent turning studio. Please include info about your prior turning experience and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements below.
