H. Painting: Intro to Acrylics | Ages 6-8
Come learn all about acrylics in this fun and engaging class! We will discuss what acrylic paint is and some tips to use it effectively. We will be learning about the importance of value in paintings, color saturation, and blending techniques. During class, we will paint self portraits, landscapes, and have free paint time, as well!
After this course, students should be able to describe acrylic paint and its key properties and utilize techniques such as mixing secondary and tertiary colors from primary colors, creating varying values using color, and a variety of brushstrokes.
