Starting a Stitch Diary - Daily Meditative Stitching
A stitch diary is a great place to hold your stitching experiments, slow stitch diary entries, or even beautiful, finished pieces. Hand sewing is a great grounding practice, as a way to explore creativity in a slow, meaningful, and thoughtful way. Your stitch diary holds a space for those creative explorations and meditative conversations in thread.
This two-part workshop will show you how to create a small fabric book that is perfect for travel, on-the-spot stitching, or just as a pleasing spot to keep your stitches! We’ll then explore some slow stitching prompts, techniques, and ideas to get you started on creating a daily stitching practice for mindfulness and grounding.
Please note a $15 supply fee will be due at time of registration.
Ages 14 and up. Cloth face coverings and social distancing are required in this and all Sawtooth classes.
