Adobe Lightroom Basics (Desktop)
The essential program all photographers should know. Taking the photo is for the camera but making the photo worthy of print and websites for the computer. 15 years since it's inception, Lightroom has nearly replaced the need for photoshop and other editing software. This class is an introduction to incredibly powerful tools and processes that Lightroom has to offer. Whether a hobbyist or professional photographer, a smooth, organized workflow is essential in the effective management and editing of a photographic library of images. This 3-week class covers the complete workflow, beginning with organizing, collecting and placing image files into a primary folder location; importing; performing general basic image editing using Adobe Lightroom; and finally exporting and optimizing images for output, be it further editing in Photoshop, printing, or the web.
