Beginning Jewelry Fabrication
Special 6-week Spring offering! This class introduces tools and techniques of jewelry design and fabrication, creating pieces starting with simple sheet metal and wire. Use copper, brass or silver sheet and wire and learn to texture, saw, forge, polish and more. Learn and practice the basics through class projects. Design your own wearable creations, using skills introduced like roll texturing, forming and soldering. Some supplies (metal) are included, others will be discussed in class and are available to purchase during class. The studio has all the tools and equipment necessary and you need not bring tools unless you want. You are welcomed and encouraged to repeat this class to reinforce basic skills and add to your fabrication techniques. There's so much to learn!
