Multi-Block Woodcut
Wood boards are used to cut different but somewhat
related designs. Each board is then inked in a different
color. Prints are made by combining any two to three
boards printed on a series of papers through a press. Color blending,
transparent-layering, and special effects using
natural woodgrains will be explored. All inks are water based
and clean-up is easy with soap and water.
