Ceramic Glaze Tech
This class explores the nature of clay bodies and glazes and how they are formulated, in both practice and theory. We will begin with learning how a clay is formulated for a certain firing temperature then further understanding how to develop glazes.Through lab work and lecture, students will gain a better understanding of ceramic materials and how they can be combined to make clays and glazes to suit our individual needs.
