Lions, + Tigers, + Clay! OH MY: Handbuilding Ceramics | Ages 9-11 | Week 3 PM
In this class, you will have the opportunity to learn the fine art of sculpting 3D animal forms using clay. Through a combination of traditional hand-building techniques and innovative methods, you will discover how to create stunning, lifelike animal sculptures that are sure to impress.
You will also explore the process of breaking down complex forms into simpler shapes, a key skill for any aspiring sculptor. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is the perfect way to hone your craft and take your skills to the next level.
Throughout the week, students will work on their projects, which will then be glazed and professionally fired. Parents will be notified once their child's art is available for pickup, which typically takes three to four weeks after the end of the class.
