Sawtooth wants you as a Youth Summer Intern!
High School interns work with experienced art educators in summer camp studios to assist Sawtooth’s youngest artists, ages 3 to 11, as they explore creativity in new and dynamic ways.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively on important projects, and most importantly, a strong interest in art education or community non-profits.
This is a 4 – 6 week commitment between June 18th and August 17th. Half-day or full-day shifts are available, and interns typically work 25 -40 hours per week.
Although the internship is unpaid, the seminars and opportunities we provide our interns allow them to take on leadership roles, learn about a higher art education environment, and gain work experience along with receiving community service hours. As an added benefit , all interns receive a free one-year Sawtooth student membership encouraging them to take art classes or workshops at a discounted rate.
Spend your summer making a difference!
