Dave Dulaney

Dave Dulaney was lucky to find his life long passion, photography, at an early age. He discovered the magic of the darkroom and film photography at the age of 16, and hasn’t looked back.

He was the chief photographer at the University of Tennessee and after a career in graphics and pre-press, returned to school and received a degree in Photographic Technology from Randolph Community College. He is the Assistant Director of Photography at Sawtooth. He teaches digital and film photography to youth and adults, and runs the darkroom program.

“Sawtooth has always, from the get go, felt like home to me. It’s a magic place where no matter your medium, you get to explore and meet other artists. Sawtooth, at least for me, is a creative oasis.”
