Updated Protocols: COVID-19
At Sawtooth, we continue to monitor and follow the CDC guidelines for maintaining a safe environment for our students, faculty and staff members. The relaxing of guidelines and what that means for our community moving forward encourages us. As a school, we are dedicated to following school protocols set forth by Governor Roy Cooper:
“In accordance with the new CDC guidance, there will still be certain settings where masks and other safety measures will be required. Masks will still be required in child care, schools and camps as most children are either not yet vaccinated or are not yet eligible to be vaccinated.”
Thank you to our staff, faculty and students for respecting our protocols throughout the pandemic, it has proven to be effective.
Our Updated Guidelines as of May 21, 2021:
- Students must wear cloth face coverings/masks at all times when on the premises.
- Students must respect a minimum of 3ft distancing wherever possible.
- Respect the privacy of others by not asking if they are vaccinated.
- Hand sanitizing and cleaning surfaces in classrooms. Sanitizer will be provided to students.
