Crankies: Stories that Move
See work created at Sawtooth
At the end of the day, isn’t it wonderful to be a person who makes stories? Who among us hasn’t been moved by at a movie on a screen or a bedtime story told by a loved one. During Winter 2019, Sawtooth students had a chance to create their own engaging stories in John Bowhers’ “Crankies: Stories that Move” workshop. Students used wooden cigar boxes and an illustrated scroll to create a unique miniature theatre.
Check out the work below:
I’m very impressed with the work produced in the class. I’m glad we were able to bring John’s brand of storytelling to Sawtooth. It is active, dynamic and best of all handmade.
