WELCOME TO THE WOOD AND LATHE STUDIOS

Sawtooth School’s Wood and Lathe Studios host classes on a wide range of woodworking and turning projects and techniques for students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are getting started with the basics, or exploring more advanced projects and techniques, there’s a place for you in our studios.

Each of our instructors brings their own knowledge and experience of woodworking to the classroom, and our class offerings change each season. Class topics range from small furniture projects and joinery techniques to spoon carving, woodturning, and basketry.

The spacious wood studios are well equipped with professional quality machines, tools, and work benches. Class sizes are small to allow for plenty of hands-on practice and individual attention. In our studios, you’ll find a friendly and helpful community of woodworkers, exploring craft traditions and creating timeless, modern heirloom quality work in wood.
