Teen- Paint Out(side)!
Art-makers will meet at the entrance to Reynolda Gardens each morning at 9:00 and paint til 1:00 pm. A materials list will be provided a week prior to the classes. Artists may use oils or acrylics, although the Instructor will be working in oils and do all demos in oil.
Each day, the class will move to a different location on the grounds. The focus may be garden, architecture, open land, trees, or water. A daily demo by Plein Air artist Barbara Mory (barbaramorypainting.com) will start us off. Students will then choose their focus, learn how to create a composition, and begin their daily work.
This class is limited to six artists.
A release form provided by Sawtooth will be required.
Students must provide their own transportation.
