Camp Sawtooth Week 2 July 11th-15th Half Day (ages 9-12) Wood
In this class we will be making bentwood boxes! Students will learn the fundamentals of woodworking through the traditional craft of wood bending to make nesting boxes for storing pencils, cards, rocks, coins, or anything imaginable! Learn about how wood can be steamed and then bent around a mold into any shape, and, once it dries, add a bottom and a lid with a few tacks to make your very own, unique container for all of your treasures!
