Woodturning fundamentals
Take the first step on the journey of woodturning, a skill acquired through repetition and practice, in this one day introductory workshop. Gain familiarity with the tools, sharpening techniques, and safety best practices of turning wood at the lathe. This fundamentals workshop makes a great introduction for beginners interested in taking more complex lathe workshops at Sawtooth. All the tools and materials for this intensive workshop are provided. This class is open to students ages 16 and up. Masks and social distancing are required in this and all Sawtooth classes.
