Sawtooth School for Visual Art is pleased to announce that Lindsay Potter has joined the staff as registrar. Currently completing her degree in Art History at Salem College, Potter’s first exposure to art was as a child in Sawtooth’s summer camps. She renewed her involvement at Sawtooth a few years ago, working as an intern before joining the adjunct faculty as a youth art instructor. In the role of registrar, Potter manages the registration process for Sawtooth classes and workshops, monitors and prepares reports on registration numbers, and serves as liaison between program coordinators and class instructors. Potter replaces Julie Morgan, who retired at the end of March.
“Lindsay had big shoes to fill and she’s done a truly admirable job of rising to that challenge,” said Sawtooth Executive Director JoAnne Vernon. “Her desk is located in the gallery shop, so in addition to her responsibilities as registrar, she also serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty and the public in general. Lindsay’s knowledge of Sawtooth’s broad and diverse range of programs coupled with her outstanding customer service skills makes her the ideal person for this role.”
