| The Sawtooth School for Visual
Art is nestled in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. Our roofline
resembles a saw-blade with the cutting edge up. You'll find our distinctive
building at 226 North Marshall Street in Winston-Salem - a cornerstone
city in the Piedmont Triad, North Carolina. The building and galleries
are open, free of charge, to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.
to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Sawtooth School may be reached
from Business I-40: From Business I-40: Eastbound or westbound, take the Cherry Street Exit, go north on Cherry through the lights at First, second, and Third Streets. Turn left on Fourth Street, and left on Marshall Street. Go a block and a half; the building, with its distinctive roofline, is on the right. Metered on-street parking is available. Enter the building through the double glass doors with the blue awning (a handicapped entrance is located on the north side of the building).
