The Sawtooth School for Visual Art is located at 251 North Spruce Street in downtown Winston-Salem.
Sawtooth School of Visual Art is thrilled to be back in its downtown home with the signature roofline. The school is part of the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, which opened in September 2010. The Rhodes Center is the result of a 3 year campaign that raised funds to renovate and remodel the entire complex. As a result, Sawtooth School classroom space has nearly doubled and each area of instruction has dedicated space.
You’ll definitely want to visit us to check out the gallery, the first ever Sawtooth School retail store and the many new classrooms. These additional classrooms allow us to bring you more of the programming you want, so please let us know if you don’t see a class offered in a craft, technique or discipline you would like to learn at Sawtooth School.
Our expanded space has many flexible, creative spaces. We invite local organizations, businesses and the community at large to rent the School, or parts of it, for events, business meetings or celebrations. For more information call 336.723.7395
