Deck the Halls is Sawtooth’s largest fundraising event and generates proceeds that help support our organization’s operations and arts-based programming. Beautifully displayed in our gallery and gift shop setting, Deck the Halls features a unique variety of work from Sawtooth faculty, students and regional artists.
This year, Deck the Halls will be free and open to the public from December 5 through 22.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Deck the Halls shoppers are in for a special treat on Saturday, December 6. Cast members from Twin City Stage will be here from 2 to 3 PM to sing selections from Yes, Virginia The Musical. Part of the Youth Production Series, this holiday show is based on the true story of eight-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon’s letter to the editor of The New York Sun. The answer she receives is one that will become the most famous newspaper editorial of all time. For more information on Twin City Stage and Yes Virginia, click here.
Enrichment Center ‘s “Pop-Up” Holiday Gift Sale will return to Deck the Halls this year on Saturday, December 13 from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday, December 14 from 11 AM to 4 PM. The sale will feature original art, pottery and gift items by students of The Enrichment Center, known collectively as the Artists of Gateway Studios. A variety of hand-made ornaments will be available along with holiday cards featuring reproductions of the artists’ paintings. New this year are coffee mugs that also feature original artwork. The Enrichment Center is an arts-based, not-for-profit organization that serves individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The artists exhibit and sell their work in the Center’s Gateway Gallery as well as in a variety of local, regional, and national venues.
