Post & Rung Stool
Open to turners of all skill levels, this class introduces the tools, techniques, and processes for building a classic post and rung stool. Students will learn stock selection, making a “story stick” for laying out mortises, drilling mortises, tapering, and more. Finishing and seating materials covered but not completed in class. Class size limited to five students, so there will be plenty of individual attention and lots of hands-on practice. All materials are provided in class.

Upon completion of their stool, students will be prepared to tackle more advanced projects such as building post and rung chairs, settees, & tables.
