Exploring Wood Surfaces
The finish can be the first impression a person has of your piece, it is a step in the woodworking process that requires as much attention as anything else but can easily be overlooked or difficult to achieve due to misinformation. This class will not only cover the fundamentals in traditional finishes used in fine woodworking today, but dive deep into the exciting world of paints, ebonizing methods, surface embellishments, and more. This workshop will allow everyone to engage with these finishing techniques hands-on. Everyone will leave equipped with their own catalog of samples and information, setting you up to hit the ground running on your next project.
