Birdcarving (575)
This fascinating carving class introduces students to the precise art of carving life-like birds out of wood. Students will learn the use of power-carving tools (flexible shaft tools), burning tools, bird anatomy, and other techniques while creating the bird sculpture. This session's bird carving will be a mockingbird Intermediate to advanced students will refine their skills. Beginners to advanced carvers. A $20 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the first class session. Students may bring a flexshaft machine and attachments if available.
