Wood
Beginning Lathe Turning 101
This is a beginner’s introduction to the tools, techniques and processes of turning wood on a lathe. It’s also a great refresher/reinforcer for those who have just begun lathe turning and want more guided practice. Through a series of projects, you will learn to safely use chisels and gouges to turn a wood blank into a form such as a honey dipper, ring holder, pen, bottle topper or bowl. Class size limited to four students, so there will be plenty of time for individual attention and lots of hands-on practice.
