Master Class: Understanding Your Camera's Manual Settings (622)
Gain complete control over your images! This hands-on class is designed to help you better understand your camera’s manual controls, getting the most out of your aperture and shutter settings by learning how they function and why. You’ll learn creative techniques such as panning, blurring your backgrounds, light painting, and creating “ghosts” in your photos. Photo assignments will be given at the end of each class to practice what you learn. Digital or Film SLR cameras. Those with film cameras will have use of the darkroom during the duration of the class. Bring your cameras and manuals to class. Best suited for students who are already comfortable using their camera’s auto controls, but are new to manual settings.
