Photography Expedition with Julian Charles
There is nothing quite so magical as photographing the winter scene. White-capped mountaintops, snow-laden trees and frozen waterfalls are prizes that await the patient landscape photographer. This winter we’ll spend two nights at Roan Mountain, TN, basing ourselves in the cabins within the state park. Each cabin is equipped with heating and a log-burner, kitchen, bathroom, 3 beds and linens. Landscape and nature photography workshops with backcountry guided hiking provided throughout the weekend. Students should bring clothing suitable for the winter and expect to photograph and take short hikes in the great outdoors under winter conditions!
Group size limited to 8. Mandatory briefing on 2/5 to discuss car-share transport, meal planning, and to give students sufficient time to assemble any additional gear.
