Digital Photography I
This first course will introduce you to the most fundamental controls on your digital camera. Learn both in class and through take-home assignments about the basic controls of your camera, exposure, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and composition essentials. We will also discuss how to upload your images to a computer and basic file storage. We will spend half the class in lecture and half the class photographing and practicing techniques. This course is recommended for anyone who has used their camera but still needs help getting better images and understanding basic camera functions. It is designed for cameras that have the ability to adjust aperture and shutter speed. Because cameras differ in their operation and interface, it is essential for students to bring their user manual with the camera to each class.
