This class is intended for those who already have a basic understanding of Adobe Lightroom, or have attended ‘The Digital Photographer’s Workflow using Adobe Lightroom’. During this 6 week class students will delve deeper into Lightroom; using both Mac and PC operating environments, catalog file information, overview of all modules, panels, and drop down menus, common preference setup, customized view including panels, modules, backdrop color, identity plate and splash screen. Importing, exporting, and managing files, keyboard shortcuts, setting up collections, publishing services; culling, flagging, keywording and rating images. Comprehensive tuition of the developing module, including filters, brushes, gradients; saving presets, exporting to Photoshop, special effects and conversions; creating contact sheets and collages, watermarks and identity plates. Participants are asked to bring in a set of photos on a thumb drive that they want process. Lightroom version 5 available during class to those who do not wish to bring their own laptops and software.
