Sculpting the Figure in Clay (2366)
In this workshop, you will sculpt a small-scale figure in clay, working from a live clothes model. In addition to anatomy and observational technique, we will focus on different approaches to working with clay. Those approaches will include: modeling with sculpting tools; additive/subtractive methods; the use of armatures; and patinas. Your figure studies will be fired for pickup later. Some experience helpful although not required. Clay and firing included.
