Artists on Art is a new dialogue series hosted by Amy Jordan Kincaid. There are common threads historically among artists. In an intimate setting, artists will engage with the moderator, to reveal these similarities as well as the differences that make each artist’s journey unique and intriguing. We welcome artists from within and without our community to speak to art, both personally and professionally. Free and open to the public.
The featured artist is Julian Charles, a photographic artist living with his family in Elkin, NC. His extensive photographic portfolio is made up of fine art photography, adventure & expedition, commercial and freelance, and environmental awareness images from over 30 countries around the world.
A regular contributor to Our State Magazine & The Winston Salem Journal, his fine art images are in demand by collectors internationally. Several times a year he shares the photographic skill – and the mindfulness – that is required of the backcountry photographer who wants to make extraordinary images. Visit his website for more on workshops and guided overseas photography tours.
